How do I know that my reservation is confirmed with the property?
The hotel receives your reservation before your arrival. You will receive a follow-up email with your hotel confirmation number once the property processes your reservation.
What is the difference between an ARN confirmation number and a hotel confirmation number?
An ARN confirmation number is issued immediately by Pellucid Travel after booking. The hotel confirmation number is provided once the hotel has entered your reservation into their system.
Can I book with points?
Points cannot be redeemed for bookings but may be added to your reservation or linked when checking in at the hotel.
If you would like to transfer your reservation to a different hotel for the same event, contact info@pellucidtravel.com to avoid paying additional non-refundable operational fees.
PAYMENT & FEES
How can I be sure my credit card information is secure?
We use secure-socket-layer (SSL) encryption, the standard encryption on the Internet. SSL ensures your personal and payment information remains safe from interception.
What credit cards do you accept?
Our partner platform accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Do you include taxes in my reservation total?
Yes, taxes are included. There is also a "Pay at Property" amount on your confirmation that estimates what you will pay at the hotel upon check-in. Tax rates reflect applicable state and local taxes, which are subject to change. Final taxes will be calculated at the hotel's prevailing rates at time of stay.
Do I pay for the entire reservation upfront or just a advance payment?
It depends on the agreement with the hotel. Some require a Advance Payment, others require full pre-payment and others require no Advance Payment at the time of booking. The "Charged Now" section on your confirmation will specify what is charged at booking.
What does "Charged Now" mean on my Guest Confirmation Receipt/Voucher?
It means a portion of your total was charged at booking, which may include a non-refundable fee and a Advance Payment. The non-refundable fee will not be refunded at any time once the reservation is made.

What is this charge on my credit card?
Please see above — it is more than likely the “Charged Now” amount, which includes a non-refundable processing fee and deposit outlined in your Guest Confirmation Receipt/Voucher email.
What are incidental fees?
Incidental fees cover extra services such as room service, restaurant/bar purchases, parking, etc. Contact the hotel directly for their specific incidental policy.
What are the “"Local Taxes and Operational Fees"” listed on my receipt?
These include applicable state and local taxes, which are subject to change, credit card processing fees, and any required Advance Payment — all reflected in your final reservation total.
How does my advance payment get credited to my room?
The advance payment is built into the advertised rate at booking. Your remaining hotel bill reflects the total room rate minus the per-night Advance Payment already applied.
What is your low-rate guarantee?
All hotel reservations booked as Special Event Rates are negotiated, discounted group rates that have flexible cancellation and modification policies with no penalty for event cancellation. Contact your Client Relationship Specialist if you find a lower rate elsewhere.
Be aware of spam asking for 3rd party payments!
Your security is our top priority. Please note that Pellucid Travel will never request payment through any third party payment platform like venmo or zelle. All legitimate emails from our team will come exclusively from a @pellucidtravel.com email address. If you ever receive a message requesting payment from a Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, or any unrecognized address claiming to be us, please do not engage or send any funds. Reach out to us directly and we will verify any communication in question.
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
How do I modify/cancel a reservation?
Use the “Modify Reservation” or “Cancel Reservation” link found at the bottom of your
Guest Confirmation Receipt/Voucher email to make changes. Once you select modify or
cancel, a new webpage will open where you can review potential changes. Also, be sure to
review the hotel cancellation policy and Pellucid Travel cancellation policy regarding refunds.
Can I switch hotels?
Email the Client Relationship Specialist associated with your event for support in
switching hotels without incurring extra fees.
What if I have a name change for my reservation?
Use the “Modify Reservation” or “Cancel Reservation” link found at the bottom of your
Guest Confirmation Receipt/Voucher email to make changes if changes are needed. You must
modify the name before arriving at the hotel. Another person will not be allowed to check in.
In what situation will I receive my deposit back if I cancel my room?
The non-refundable fee is not refunded once the reservation is made. However, your deposit may be
refunded if the event is canceled by the organizer or if you cancel within the provider’s refund policy.
If canceled within 14 days of arrival, a refund will be processed by Pellucid Travel minus a $10.00
cancellation fee (excluding non-refundable service fees).
HOTEL AMENITIES & POLICIES
Is there a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel?
Some hotels provide complimentary shuttle services. Check the property information page for specific details.
Will I get a free breakfast?

What about parking at the hotel?
Free parking is available at many hotels. Refer to the property information page for details.
Do hotels have minimum age requirements for check-in?

How accurate is your hotel amenities information?
Hotel information is updated multiple times a year by the hotel or hotel chain. While we strive for accuracy, we recommend contacting the hotel directly for specific needs.
